At Fazer Kvarn, we are now looking for a driven and knowledgeable QE Manager who wants to lead and further develop our quality and environmental work in Sweden and the Nordic region. Here you will combine strategic leadership with operational responsibility in an operation where quality, safety, and continuous improvements are at the center.
Responsibilities
As QE Manager, you will have a key role in the organization with responsibility for leading and developing the company's quality and environmental work. You will be part of the QE management team and the local site management, and will work closely with production, product development, supply chain, consumer contact, and laboratory, with a clear mandate to influence both working methods and culture.
Your main areas of responsibility are to:
Drive and further develop quality, environmental, and food safety work—strategically and operationally across the entire organization
Manage the management system—development, efficiency, and continuous improvement, as well as reporting to the management team
Ensure regulatory compliance and certifications—including contact with authorities, audits, and contact with certification bodies
Lead and support in deviation management, risk assessments, and improvement work
Contribute actively in development and investment projects—such as product development and new and renovation construction
Employee responsibility—lead and coach two laboratory employees
The position is full-time, daytime, based in Lidköping.
Profile
To succeed in this role, we see that you are organized, analytical, and communicative, with a strong ability to engage and lead. You have previous experience with improvement work and document management, and you thrive in an environment where you can drive change.
Further, we see that you have:
Higher education in food science (e.g., food engineer/agronomist) or equivalent work experience
Several years of experience with quality work in the food industry
Good knowledge of Swedish and English, as well as good system knowledge
Experience with HACCP, BRC, IFS, FSSC 22000, ISO 14001
