QA Responsible at BI-QEM AB in Perstorp

As QA Responsible, you will become a central part of the operation and work closely with operators, the laboratory, and production. You are responsible for daily quality work, drive improvements, and contribute to the company's quality and environmental efforts. The role is ideal for you if you thrive in a production-focused environment, enjoy analyzing and solving problems, and want to contribute to developing both processes and products.
You will receive comprehensive onboarding in close collaboration with experienced colleagues. This is a long-term position that offers excellent opportunities to develop and gradually take on greater responsibility within management systems, quality, and product development.
The position is located at BI-QEM's facility in Perstorp.
Your Main Responsibilities
You will work operatively and with a development focus centered on quality. This means you:
• Are present daily in production and collaborate closely with operators and team leaders
• Monitor quality results, analyze deviations, and make decisions on quality matters
• Handle customer complaints, conduct investigations, and write reports
• Manage validation and approval of raw materials
• Coordinate the laboratory and are responsible for equipment and calibrations
• Drive and develop the company's management systems according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
• Lead continuous improvement efforts within materials and products, processes, and equipment
• Collaborate with colleagues within the BI-QEM group, both in Sweden and internationally
Who Are You?
We believe you:
• Have a technical or scientific education, preferably with elements of chemistry or process engineering
• Have several years of experience from manufacturing or process industry
• Have experience with quality work and preferably with management systems
• Are thorough, structured, and analytical
• Are unpretentious and thrive in a production environment
• Have good technical understanding and an interest in processes and materials
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English
As a person, you are engaged, energetic, and solution-oriented. You enjoy collaborating, are present in the operation, and are motivated by contributing to the company's continued development.
About the Business
BI-QEM AB's main activity is the development, production, and marketing of specialty chemicals for industrial applications. The company focuses on formulations primarily used in manufacturing industry. Products mainly consist of various types of customized thermoset plastic raw materials.
In Perstorp, BI-QEM AB operates continuous production with approximately 25 operators working in shifts. Production runs around the clock on weekdays. The operation is characterized by stable performance and high expertise, where you will have the opportunity to work with both established processes and development work. There is a strong culture of collaboration and a will to develop together.
BI-QEM AB is in an exciting development phase where production volume is expected to increase significantly over the coming year, creating excellent opportunities to influence and develop with the business.
