About the Position
As a powder coating supervisor, you'll work with the entire process, from preparation and masking to the finished coated product. The coating facility is based on manual application, and since production consists of both large and small components in short runs, the work is varied and developmental. You'll also have the opportunity to influence work methods, routines, and the continued development of the department, as well as contribute to a well-functioning and safe workplace.
The position is full-time with daytime hours.
This is a staffing assignment through Lernia with placement at Vaggeryd's Machine. For the right person, there are good opportunities for future direct employment with the client company.
Responsibilities
You're responsible for ensuring that coating work maintains high quality and is performed according to drawings, instructions, and established requirements. The role includes handling quality controls and contributing to efficient production flow together with the rest of the operation. You also actively work with organization and cleanliness, continuous improvement, and compliance with the company's quality and occupational health and safety requirements.
About You
We're looking for someone with experience in powder coating who takes responsibility for their work. You're thorough, quality-conscious, and experienced in working independently, while also being collaborative with others. As a person, you're proactive, engaged, and solution-oriented, with practical skills and a desire to contribute to the continued development of the operation.
Required Qualifications
Experience in powder coating
Class B Driver's License
Fluent spoken and written Swedish
Desirable Qualifications
Forklift certification
Overhead crane certification
