Psychologist/PTP-Psychologist, CBT Focus with Interest in Internet-Based Treatment
Welcome to apply for this position at the Development Unit for Psychotherapy and Psychological Treatment (UPP)! The Development Unit for Psychotherapy and Psychological Treatment (UPP) is part of Specialist Psychiatry and has a development mandate regarding psychotherapy throughout the entire Psychiatric Department in Region Örebro County. UPP also operates Internet-based treatment (iCBT) for depression, panic disorder, and social anxiety disorder, and offers qualified treatment together with Public Dental Care for extreme dental anxiety. UPP consists of approximately 10 staff members with extensive experience and expertise in psychotherapy. Several experienced psychologists work at UPP, and the unit provides psychotherapy individually and via the internet, supervision, development work, and training in psychotherapy. Research on psychotherapy is also conducted at UPP. At UPP, we value a good collaborative climate and show respect for everyone we meet in our work. The PTP-psychologist will have the opportunity to participate in the region's PTP program, which includes interesting lectures, seminars, and study visits, and the PTP placement is structured according to the National Board of Health and Welfare's guidelines. Job Duties The clinical work in this position as a Licensed Psychologist/PTP-Psychologist at UPP will involve assessments and treatment using internet-based CBT for our three current treatments: depression, panic disorder, and social anxiety. We are actively working to offer more internet-based treatments in the future, so it is likely that the work will eventually include work with and development of iCBT for additional diagnoses. You will also have the opportunity to provide face-to-face treatment for extreme dental phobia and participate in follow-up and development work as well as research. The work takes place both individually, with the team, and in collaborations both within and outside the Region. Supervision is offered to everyone working with internet-based treatment, and the work also provides an opportunity to work in a creative and development-oriented team that advances psychological treatment. Qualifications Swedish psychological license/Swedish psychology degree with a focus on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with interest in internet-based treatment and development work. Experience with internet-based psychological treatment, work with digital platforms, and research interest are advantageous. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities. About the Operation The specialist psychiatry operations are located in Örebro. There are operations with specializations such as psychosis care, trauma care, dialectical behavior therapy, psychiatric rehabilitation, physiotherapy, addiction treatment, internet-based treatment, and an eating disorder clinic. We provide treatment both individually and in groups, with both planned and emergency visits as well as telephone counseling. Rehabilitation is part of our work, as well as mobile services and patient and family education. Together we are approximately 250 staff members working with shared processes and goals. We work in multidisciplinary teams based on a holistic view of the individual and adapt care services to the patient's needs and conditions. We work to promote the participation of close relatives in care.
