Please feel free to read more about the benefits and perks we offer at Närhälsan: Link to our website About the Work Youth Mental Health (UPH) has the mission to offer children, young people and their guardians with mental health issues early and adequate care. As a psychologist, you work in close collaboration with other primary care staff and have the opportunity to work at all our units in the area as well as partially digitally. You will work with assessing, diagnosing and treating children and young people with mental health issues and the significance of psychosocial factors, and based on that propose and implement appropriate interventions. You collaborate with other actors such as schools and social services where you also participate in SIP meetings. Treatment interventions for low mood, anxiety and self-harm behaviors as well as counseling, support and crisis conversations are part of your assignment. You become an important contact for parental support both individually and in groups and also conduct other group treatments such as worry management, AFFECT and ABC. We work according to primary care-oriented approaches, where the work includes high accessibility, stepped/stratified care and collaboration with other professions and care neighbors. It is important that you have an interest in working with a primary care orientation, which means prioritizing high accessibility for all residents with mental and behavior-related health issues. About You You are a licensed psychologist with at least one year of clinical experience working with children and young people with mental health issues. It is meritorious if you have experience from the following: Work as a psychologist at regional primary care level Stepped care Internet-based psychological treatment Group treatment We are looking for someone who is responsive and accommodating, with good communication skills and the ability to identify individuals' unique needs. Through initiative and active engagement, you want to participate in the development of the operation and contribute as a consultative resource in the daily interprofessional collaboration at the health center. A professional approach and good treatment of customers, patients and colleagues is a matter of course for you.
