Residents of Jämtland County who need specialized psychiatric care receive treatment in outpatient or inpatient care within the psychiatric department at Östersund Hospital. The department's employees have great responsibility for developing and improving care in collaboration with the department's management. There are approximately 270 employees in total within the department. 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES We are now looking for a licensed psychologist for our inpatient wards 4A and 4B. The main work tasks include assessment work, short treatment/counseling interventions, and supervision of staff and students within inpatient care. You participate in rounds and are an active and important resource for patient care planning on the ward and in transition to outpatient care. Assessments are performed independently or as joint assessments with other professionals such as physicians, nurses or other care personnel. Certain limited evaluation work may occasionally occur, then in consultation and joint planning with the clinic's evaluation team. Opportunity to help create and develop meaningful 24-hour care and openness to your own ideas about the psychologist's role in inpatient care. In addition to work within inpatient care, you may receive tasks to support outpatient care in the form of group treatments, intensive treatments, targeted interventions or supporting our mobile team SPOT which often works on assignments to inpatient care. The work requires good collaboration skills. The clinic collaborates with MIUN's psychology program, which involves the participation of psychology students and psychology assistants in patient work. We therefore appreciate that you have experience with and enjoy a supervisor role. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist with interest and commitment to psychiatry. Relevant specialist training or senior expertise is meritorious. We would like you to have previous experience or interest in psychological work within psychiatry or psychiatric 24-hour care.
