Now you have the chance to join our neuropsychiatric team within child and youth psychiatry in Norrbotten! What we're looking for We're looking for you who are a licensed psychologist with experience in psychological assessment and diagnostics, and you have strong knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. It is meritorious if you have specialization in neuropsychology, alternatively clinical psychology or psychology of disabilities, and if you have experience with neuropsychiatric diagnostics, particularly for ages 6-18 years. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. You are structured and work methodically, creating clear structure in assessment work. You have good problem-solving abilities, analyze complex situations, and find well-founded solutions. With your clinical eye, you contribute to a reflective and solution-focused way of working. You plan and document in a way that creates security and continuity for both patients and team. You drive cases forward with good collaboration skills as you work attentively and constructively with colleagues and other professions. What you'll be working with As a psychologist in our neuropsychiatric team, you'll have a central role in assessing and evaluating children and young people with neuropsychiatric issues – always in close collaboration with the team. In the long term, the goal is also to be able to offer treatment for certain neuropsychiatric conditions, which gives you the opportunity to be part of shaping the development of our working methods. The team consists of psychologists, child psychiatrists, and a medical secretary. You'll become part of a team where people help each other, share knowledge, and support each other in daily work. We work as part of a new context for Region Norrbotten based on stepped care, where assessments and interventions begin within primary care and at the first level. Start date by agreement. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement. Child and Youth Psychiatry Norrbotten is a regional clinic but we are based in Luleå. Since the team's assignment includes assessments throughout Norrbotten, there is the possibility, by agreement, of placement in Piteå, Kalix, Gällivare, and Luleå. We conduct background checks before making employment decisions in accordance with the regulations in the Act (2013:852) on background checks for persons who will work with children. Based on the nature of the operations and security requirements, as an applicant to our operations, you must be prepared to provide an extract from the criminal record register.
