Addiction Center Stockholm is Sweden's largest addiction clinic. We offer support and assistance to people who have problems with alcohol, drugs, medications, or gambling. The Workplace Liljeholmsbergets addiction treatment center and Tyresö addiction treatment center are part of Southern Region's outpatient care and work closely together with other centers in the region. At our centers, you get the best of two worlds. The Liljeholmen center is one of the largest in the organization, while the Tyresö center is one of the smaller ones. Both centers have low staff turnover with stable teams, a family-like work environment where we support and care for each other, and access to good transportation. Both centers serve adults with harmful use and dependence on alcohol, drugs, and gambling. Work is conducted in collaboration with social services, primary care, and other psychiatric services. The Work As a psychologist, you work closely with the center's other professionals. We have psychologists, occupational therapists, rehabilitation coordinators, psychotherapists, nurses, doctors, and medical secretaries. The work includes psychiatric assessments, neuropsychiatric evaluations, and psychological treatment, both individual and group-based. We document in the TakeCare medical record system. Qualifications Licensed psychologist with experience in psychological treatment and neuropsychiatric evaluations. Experience in psychiatry and addiction care is desirable. Training in trauma-focused treatments is desirable. Addiction Center Stockholm offers various benefits including flexible working hours, subsidized outpatient healthcare, a wellness allowance of 5,000 kronor, and one wellness hour per week for full-time employment. Employment Terms The work distribution is set at 60% in Liljeholmen and 40% in Tyresö. Permanent employment, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday. A probationary period may be used in this recruitment. Addiction Center Stockholm applies alcohol and drug testing and background checks for new hires. The position is filled on the condition that it does not need to be used for internal redeployment, in accordance with applicable regulations. For patient-facing work within Stockholm County's healthcare area: - background checks are conducted before employment decisions in accordance with SLSO's guidelines for background checks in hiring. - employees who will have patient contact must undergo an initial health examination, according to applicable directives, which takes place through occupational health services before employment. - in addition to Swedish professional licensure, good knowledge of Swedish language at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required.
