Habilitation Center Brommaplan is a unit within Habilitation & Health, a service within Region Stockholm with specialized expertise in functional disabilities. We work in interdisciplinary teams consisting of social workers, physiotherapists, psychologists, special educators, and speech-language pathologists, collaborating to provide services to patients individually and in groups. We serve individuals living in the districts of Norra Innerstaden, Kungsholmen, Bromma, Hässelby-Vällingby, and Ekerö municipality. About the Position As a substitute psychologist in our team for patients with autism, you will primarily work with consultation to parents and networks around children and young people. Our interventions often involve providing both patients and parents, individually or in groups, with knowledge about diagnosis and functioning, supporting the network around appropriate interaction and expectations, providing parental support based on the child's and family's situation, working with adaptations, preparation and clarification in the environment, promoting communication and interaction, and in various ways promoting the patient's and parent's psychological well-being and resilience. Our patients often have complex needs requiring collaboration, not only within the team, but with care colleagues, municipal activities, and other authorities. Leading and participating in network meetings such as IEP meetings is part of the work. About You We're seeking someone who is a licensed psychologist or completing your PTP service during fall 2026. You should have clinical experience with our target group and/or from the neuropsychiatric field. Experience with structured teaching methods, problematic school absenteeism, and applied behavior analysis is meritorious. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy working both independently and in a team. You have good organizational and structuring abilities and find it easy to meet the work's documentation and written communication requirements. We expect you to work based on evidence-based methods and clinical experience. The work requires an interest in and ability to collaborate with other healthcare providers and municipal services. The work is characterized by variety and requires flexibility and initiative based on the patient's needs. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Employment: 11-month temporary position. For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Healthcare Area: - background checks are applied before employment decision according to SCHA's guidelines for background checks in hiring. - employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new employee health examination, according to current directives, which is conducted through occupational health services before employment. - in addition to Swedish professional licensure, strong knowledge of Swedish corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required.
