About the Unit Are you a licensed psychologist who enjoys variety in your daily work? Do you write concise clinical notes while capturing all the important facts? Then you are the person we are looking for! We at the Psychiatry Clinic in Borlänge are seeking two psychologists who want to work across all areas of specialist psychiatry and appreciate the variation the role offers. Your tasks with us will include all aspects of assessment work and psychological treatment. We work based on care and intervention programs, care processes, and stepped care. A significant portion of the psychological treatment we offer is delivered in groups, so it helps if you feel comfortable facilitating group sessions. Responsibilities We work in teams and currently have nine psychologists at the clinic. Some of us have worked here for quite a while, and some are newly qualified PTP psychologists. Although we differ in personalities and specializations, we enjoy working together. Due to the wide variety of tasks, we have been able to specialize and do much of the work we enjoy. If you wanted to change tasks, there is always something else that needs to be done. Since we are a large clinic with approximately 50 employees, collaboration skills and psychological flexibility are essential. Resilience and the ability to stand by your assessments and professional perspective are also important for us, as we consult and collaborate with other professional groups. Qualifications Requirements: Licensed Psychologist We need a Licensed Psychologist, and since many of us have worked here for a long time, we also welcome those who are relatively new to the profession. We want someone who prefers to work primarily on-site. Remote and digital work are fine, but we appreciate seeing you in the office and meeting you in the break room. It is helpful if you have certain resilience skills—circumstances in the public sector change both quickly and slowly—but we help each other when things get difficult.
