About the service Habilitation is a regional specialist service with locations in five towns in Dalarna - Falun, Borlänge, Mora, Ludvika and Avesta. Each unit has Child and Youth Habilitation as well as Adult Habilitation. We work in multidisciplinary teams with medical, psychological, social and educational expertise. Habilitation has an important and challenging mission to make life more possible for children, young people and adults with congenital or early-acquired disabilities, as well as for their relatives. The positions are permanent and placement is possible at one of our clinics in the region. Do not hesitate to apply even if you are not yet a licensed psychologist, as we may be able to offer a PTP position or a position as a psychology assistant. Interviews may begin during the advertising period. Job responsibilities As a psychologist, you will work closely with other professionals at Habilitation. The work with us is varied as you are responsible for both psychological treatment work, conducting assessments, diagnosing and performing functional evaluations as well as mapping needs and providing individually tailored interventions. You will also provide therapeutically oriented interventions and education and support to patients, relatives, staff and others in the patient's network. You will be offered an introduction program, access to a mentor and supervisor, and you will be part of a professional team together with psychologist colleagues in the service. Travel to other clinics in the region may be part of the position and is done during working hours. Qualifications Requirements: Licensed psychologist or if you are not yet licensed, you can apply for a PTP position or as a psychology assistant. In that case, you should be undergoing training or have completed the psychology program. Category B driving license Meritorious: Previous experience from habilitation Knowledge of various disabilities Experience in conversations and assessments with good knowledge of test methodology Experience of working with children Personal qualities: Since you will be cooperating with other professionals, we place great emphasis on good cooperation skills, social competence and personal suitability.
