The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic is a regional clinic with reception units in Umeå, Lycksele, and Skellefteå. The clinic also includes a BUP inpatient ward located in Umeå. BUP Västerbotten is a USVE unit with close collaboration with universities and research. Within the clinic, we work in multidisciplinary teams and our work is conducted in close cooperation with the patient's family and other networks. The psychologist role at BUP involves working independently and in a team with treatment and assessment of children and adolescents requiring specialized child psychiatric care. In your work, you meet and treat children and adolescents with serious psychiatric conditions. For this position, the focus is primarily on treatment work. Assessment is included to some extent for all our psychologists at the clinic. The assignment may change over time based on the clinic's needs in dialogue with you as an employee. As a psychologist, you work with evidence-based methods according to current guidelines. You independently plan, carry out, and evaluate your treatment interventions. You also participate in team work and collaboration with colleagues when needed. Work with us also involves consulting and collaborating with schools, social services, and other clinics within healthcare. Work that enables and creates conditions for seeing the patient from a holistic perspective. Since we are a regional clinic, travel to the other units may occur. QUALIFICATIONS For this position, you need to be a licensed psychologist. It is a merit if you are a specialist or undergoing specialist training. You have an interest in working in a structured and evidence-based manner. We would like you to have experience working with children and adolescents, experience with treatment, preferably training in TF-CBT, or training in ADOS and/or ADI-R as well as other assessment instruments relevant to the assignment. You are a confident and structured person with a professional approach. You are responsible and adapt easily to changed circumstances.
