Enhanced child and adolescent psychiatric open care is a unit whose mission is to deliver intensive child psychiatric treatment interventions to children and young people up to 18 years old. This includes interventions that can be provided in longer work shifts, more frequently, and in different settings than traditional open care services. We also conduct diagnostic assessments and, if needed, parts of a diagnostic evaluation. The unit operates as a competent team with various professions and is characterized by close collaboration with other units within BUP. All interventions are provided based on the patient's individual needs, drawing on current care plans and best available evidence. To ensure our interventions have impact, we continuously work with evaluation and follow-up. We actively work to adapt and develop our services and are seeking colleagues who want to contribute to developing our unit and ensuring it operates with high quality and good outcomes for the children who need us. Job Responsibilities Your responsibilities will include standard, qualified psychological interventions in the form of assessment, treatment, and sometimes evaluation. Treatment is delivered both in groups and individually. You will work both independently and in interdisciplinary teams, and participate in joint conferences and professional meetings. You will have good opportunities to develop within your profession as we value competence-building initiatives that align with the unit's needs. Qualifications Licensed psychologist with experience in treatment and assessment within child and adolescent psychiatry. You are confident in your profession and a secure, stable person who inspires trust in all situations. You work in a structured manner and create order and clarity even in complex situations. With your strong collaborative skills, you actively contribute to a positive work environment and see the value in working together to achieve shared goals.
