SiS LVM Home Älvgården in Hedemora serves men with alcohol, drug, or mixed substance abuse, combined with mental health issues. Job Description SiS LVM Home Älvgården is seeking a licensed psychologist who wants to make a difference for society's most vulnerable individuals. We work with intake and needs assessment as well as treatment. As a psychologist, you will be part of the healthcare team, consisting of one psychologist, three nurses, one nursing assistant, and a consultant physician. You will have varied tasks at both individual and institutional levels, with freedom to structure and plan your own work. You are part of the treatment team around clients and contribute to increasing the institution's expertise through educational initiatives, supervision, and consultations, as well as overseeing suicide prevention work at the institution. Individual-focused tasks include assessment interviews, psychological evaluations, and to some extent therapeutic counseling. You will also contribute to systematic quality and improvement work within the healthcare services at the institution. The psychologist's responsibilities also include collaboration with regional healthcare providers, social services, and other actors to ensure continuity in the care chain. Qualifications You hold a Swedish psychologist license Good Swedish language skills, both oral and written Driver's license (Category B) We are looking for someone who collaborates easily, is flexible, and has an unpretentious approach. To succeed in this role, you need a positive view of people, the ability to take initiative, and the capacity to plan your work in collaboration with the healthcare team and departments. Desirable qualifications include experience with neuropsychological evaluations, familiarity with CBT-focused treatment work, and experience working in substance abuse care.
