Description:

Rehabilitation Center Are you a licensed psychologist or seeking a PTP clinical internship and looking for meaningful work with excellent opportunities for professional development? With us, you'll become an important part of our neuropsychiatric team where we work together based on each person's individual circumstances. We are a reasonably sized and pleasant workplace that looks forward to welcoming a new colleague. Welcome to Habiliteringscentrum in Jönköping! The Psychologist Role The psychologist in the neuropsychiatric team plays an important role in working with young children through developmental assessments and neuropsychiatric evaluations that provide increased understanding of the child's strengths and needs. Based on knowledge of the child's functioning, we provide advice and support to guardians, as well as support to networks such as preschools and schools. Through participation in team discussions and network meetings, the psychologist contributes expertise regarding the child's cognitive and emotional development and collaborates with guardians and other professionals to create early and sustainable interventions that promote the child's development. "Exciting evaluations where we get to know children and play a part in creating a better everyday life for them. We help the network around the child understand how they can provide the best support and what strengths they should build upon." Your Future Workplace Rehabilitation services serve individuals with • intellectual disabilities • permanent motor disabilities that are congenital or acquired during childhood, such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, or muscular dystrophy • neuropsychiatric disabilities in combination with intellectual disabilities • acquired brain injury with permanent cognitive impairment corresponding to intellectual disability • significant visual impairment, blindness, or deafblindness • deafness, hearing impairment, deafblindness, sound sensitivity, tinnitus, or other hearing-related disabilities.
