Description Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Affective Clinic Kungälv is part of the Psychiatry Operations at Kungälv Hospital, and is located at Rollsbovägen 58 in Kungälv. Child psychiatry in Kungälv and Ale was divided in 2020 into one unit focused on patients with neuropsychiatric functional impairments and one unit focused on patients with affective problems, and it is to the affective clinic that we are now seeking a new employee. Work Tasks Qualified investigation, assessment and treatment work with children, adolescents and their families. The work takes place in a team but also independently. We often have contact with partner care facilities, schools and social services. The clinic has emergency readiness during daytime. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a licensed psychologist and who want to be part of continuing to develop our clinic with shared commitment and innovative thinking. It is advantageous if you have previously worked in child and adolescent psychiatry but not a requirement. We would also like to see that you have experience working therapeutically with children and adolescents who have affective issues. Experience working in some form of emergency function is also desirable. You have an open mind and good ability to critically examine your work as well as an expressed patient focus that is demonstrated in collaboration with the patient around diagnostics and treatment methods. Most importantly, you are a person who values the important work with children and young people's mental health and wants to work for an outstanding and accessible child and adolescent psychiatry.
