We are looking for you, a nurse, preferably with specialist competence in psychiatry, who together with us wants to create the best conditions for our patients' recovery and well-being at the Adult Psychiatry Unit 56 in Helsingborg. The Adult Psychiatry operations area in Helsingborg has clinics and teams located in Helsingborg, Landskrona, and Ängelholm. All 24-hour care is provided in Helsingborg. We provide specialized psychiatric care and treatment for patients with serious mental health problems. The catchment area comprises ten municipalities in northwestern Skåne, with whom we have good collaboration through coordination meetings and care planning. Unit 56 is a general psychiatric acute care unit for 24-hour care as well as an education and development unit, directed at patients over 18 years old. We care for patients with conditions and illnesses within the entire psychiatric diagnostic spectrum. We also have a special assignment for specialized eating disorder care. 2 position(s). WORK TASKS Would you like to become our new colleague? We are now welcoming two nurses or psychiatric nurses to our unit! With us, you work in a care team together with care assistants and nursing aides, where you have the role of responsible nurse for patient care. In close collaboration with patients, family members, and colleagues, you are responsible for care planning and contribute to person-centered and safe care based on each patient's individual needs. We work according to Safewards, a model that promotes a safe care environment for both patients and employees. Your work tasks include documentation, ward rounds, medication management, nursing interventions, and mentoring of students according to the peer-learning model. Together with your colleagues, you work for high patient safety and high-quality care. As part of Helsingborg University Hospital, there are also good opportunities to engage in research. QUALIFICATIONS You who are applying are a licensed nurse with the authority to practice in Swedish healthcare. You also have Swedish language skills at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale. It is highly meritorious if you have specialist education in psychiatry. It is also meritorious to have previous experience working in adult psychiatry and psychiatric care. As a person, you are empathetic, attentive, and responsible with very good interpersonal skills toward both patients and colleagues. You have a high level of readiness to act and a structured work approach, and have the ability to independently make decisions when required. At the same time, you are a team player who enjoys working in a team and enjoys sharing your knowledge and experience.
