PSYCHOLOGIST (profession code 263401) Full-time position for an indefinite period REQUIREMENTS FOR CANDIDATES: Professional Master's degree in Psychology, psychologist qualification. At least one year of work experience in conducting psychological assessments using standard assessment methods and consultation. Ability to use various psychological assessment methods. Ability to make independent decisions. Experience in analyzing, interpreting assessment results and preparing psychological reports. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a team. High sense of responsibility. Psychological resilience to work in complex situations, ability to solve problem issues. Ability to build professional cooperation with educational institution staff, students, their parents and staff of other institutions. Ability to work with office equipment and IT tools. WORK LOCATION: Pre-school Institution "Ritenis" Riga Street 10 or "Seventh Kindergarten" Rubenes Street 2A, Salaspils MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Psychological assessment of students, including observation of students in the learning process and outside it; Conduct preventive work among Students, Parents and Institution staff. Provide consultation and psychological prevention work; Conduct regular monitoring to control the course of psychological development. Identify students requiring psychological assistance, maintain their records and monitoring; Conduct work related to developing student abilities, forming psychological culture of personality, training in adequate mutual relationships, providing assistance in emergency situations; Conduct necessary psychological-pedagogical research, process results, prepare psychological conclusions and recommendations. Determine the purpose of assessment. Select appropriate assessment methods, compile assessment plan; Conduct psychodiagnostic work, participate in in-depth assessment of students, when necessary involving other specialists in the work; Cooperate with parents, inform them about student achievements and problems at the educational institution, jointly seeking solutions; Conduct research on student development dynamics; Participate in educational institution's pedagogical council meetings, Support staff meetings, if necessary in methodological associations and parent meetings; Participate in providing support and developing Individual Plans for students; Cooperate with student parents and group teachers (when necessary participate in group parent meetings, provide consultations within your competence); Comply with work procedures and ethical standards.
