About the Position
The Test and Evaluation Ground (T&E Mark) department conducts various types of testing activities to meet the needs of ground combat forces and is responsible for ensuring that the requirements placed on weapons, ammunition, and protective equipment to be delivered to the Swedish Armed Forces are met.
In your role as a test technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing resources, expertise, and services related to external security and service for visiting units. The work tasks primarily include handling, manufacturing, and repair of target surfaces, material procurement, maintenance of grounds and facilities, and care of the vehicle fleet and equipment maintenance.
You will also participate in maintaining safety during shooting exercises and ensure that training facilities and field resources are in good condition.
The position is located in Älvdalen. Service travel occurs.
About You
We are looking for someone with upper secondary education with a technical or workshop technical focus, or equivalent competence acquired in other ways that we assess as equivalent. You have current and relevant experience in practical technical work. To succeed in this role, it is necessary that you have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. The position requires you to have a B-level driver's license.
It is a merit if you have some form of training within healthcare. It is also desirable if you have training for work machinery, such as wheel loaders, forklifts, or chainsaws.
We view it positively if you have a C-level driver's license, a bus driver's license, or a certificate for operating the Bandvagn 206/208, but it is not a requirement. If you have experience driving/operating heavy vehicles, we believe it will help you in your work with us.
Basic knowledge of English in speech and writing is also a merit.
