Are you curious and driven to find faults and defects through technical testing methods? As a testing engineer, you inspect objects and pressurized equipment at customer sites using methods such as X-ray and ultrasound. By inspecting things we cannot see with the naked eye, you can help contribute to a safer society! About the role: As a testing engineer, you either work on-site at the customer's location performing the job, or you take a sample for analysis in one of Kiwa's laboratories. You work with recurring inspections or preventive maintenance to measure the status and health of objects and their critical components and equipment. Your work includes performing visual inspections, ultrasonic testing, X-ray testing, and leak testing. By using these various testing methods, we can test and inspect objects for things we cannot see with the naked eye and help customers identify damage at an early stage to prevent potential costly failures. During a work week, you will come into contact with several different objects such as pressure vessels, cisterns, pipelines, and turbines. The role is based in Norrköping where daily travel and travel with overnight stays occur. Do you have what it takes? You have: • Technical secondary education or engineering degree or equivalent • An interest in technology and people • Class B driver's license • Good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written It is meritorious if you have previously worked as a testing engineer and have experience with various testing methods.
