What does the role entail? As a facility manager at Scandic, your primary focus is to keep the hotel in excellent condition for our guests. Scandic is a tenant and is operationally responsible for both the hotel's property and the building. The work takes place largely in hotel rooms and other guest areas, which means many greetings in the corridors with our guests—that is precisely where we demonstrate the good service we provide. In your role, you work with daily operations as well as planned and corrective maintenance of the hotel's facilities and installations such as doors, locks, and furnishings and equipment in hotel rooms, gym, kitchen and restaurant, conference areas, pool, and sauna/relaxation areas. Measures for operational optimization of the building's climate systems, heating and ventilation, and meter readings of consumption are also included. Further, the role includes working with the hotel's fire and safety, facility operations and maintenance, both preventive and emergency. Sustainability is an important focus, and you actively work to integrate it further into our working methods. The operations involve some regulatory requirements, and you are involved in many of these. Structure, accuracy, drive, and flexibility are important qualities; you have an eye for details and you enjoy working with people and in a changing environment. You report to a Property Manager. Who are you? We are looking for someone who has technical education and experience in facility management. You have knowledge in one of the areas of electrical work, plumbing/HVAC, or control and regulation technology. Knowledge of fire safety is required for the position, and facility manager training in fire alarms & sprinkler systems and certificates are positive if you have them. You also have computer skills and good knowledge of Swedish and English. Information about the position: This is a permanent position at 75%. We only accept applications through our website.
