What We're Looking For
We seek a school counselor who has strong skills working with youth to build secure relationships with both students and parents. You are confident in documentation and project management. We see that you take initiative and collaborate with school staff. You prefer to be active in our operations to build relationships with students and gain insight into the school, as you also work preventatively within our student wellness team. Here it is important that you work systematically according to an annual plan. Your professionalism and engagement are important to us. Experience working with Repuls is a merit.

Job Responsibilities
As a school counselor, you are responsible for preventative work regarding student wellbeing and social development together with our staff. You contribute your expertise to the student wellness team and document in Admentum. You create networks with authorities such as social services, UPH, youth health services, Friends, and other organizations and counselors. When referrals to social services are necessary, you prepare documentation and investigate both absences and social intervention programs. Monitoring absences is an important task with monthly follow-ups. You support staff in their preventative work to help students become secure and social individuals. The school counselor leads the safety team together with engaged staff. The safety team is responsible for revising and ensuring compliance with the equal treatment plan. You participate in various surveys regularly sent out. There is currently an annual plan outlining counselor interventions at different grade levels.
Qualifications
We prioritize applicants with a degree in social work or equivalent education, preferably with experience working as a school counselor. Employment requires a criminal record clearance certificate for work in schools and preschools.
