RF-SISU Stockholm is in an exciting development phase and is now establishing a project organization as a permanent part of its operations. The goal is to create better conditions for initiating and managing externally funded projects that complement the organization's regular activities. As a Project Developer, you will play a central role in building the new project operations. You will work with the entire process, from identifying funding opportunities and developing project ideas to formulating applications, creating partnerships, and managing and following up on projects. Projects may, for example, address areas such as inclusion, safety, equality, and public health, where the sports movement, together with municipalities and other community actors, can make a significant difference. This is a role for you if you want to combine project development, external funding, and social benefit while being part of building a new function from the ground up. Your Assignment You will: • Identify relevant opportunities for external project funding • Develop project ideas based on RF-SISU Stockholm's mission and current needs • Prepare and formulate project applications • Build and develop relationships with municipalities, authorities, organizations, and other partners • Develop collaborations and partnerships around new projects • Plan, manage, and follow up on projects from idea to implementation and results • Take responsibility for project budgets, financing, documentation, and follow-up • Monitor projects' finances, implementation, and impact • Contribute to capturing experiences and new approaches from projects within the organization • Work closely with colleagues and management at RF-SISU Stockholm Candidate Profile We are looking for someone with experience developing projects and who knows what it takes to go from an idea to a funded and feasible project. You have previously worked with external project funding and are familiar with identifying relevant funding opportunities and preparing applications. You have a development-oriented approach and the ability to understand both the organization's needs and what external funders and partners are looking for. The role involves many contact points, so we see that you are comfortable creating and developing relationships with different types of actors. At the same time, you need to be independent and organized and able to drive your work forward. We are looking for someone who: • Has experience identifying and seeking external project funding, for example through grants, funds, foundations, or public calls • Has experience developing and managing projects from idea to implementation and follow-up • Has experience with budgets, financial monitoring, and documentation related to projects • Is used to collaborating with multiple stakeholders and interested parties • Has excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish in speech and writing • Has the ability to work both strategically and operationally Meritorious: • Experience with externally funded projects in areas such as public health, inclusion, safety, or equality • Experience collaborating with municipalities, authorities, or other public actors • Experience from civil society, sports clubs, or mission-driven organizations • Experience with or understanding of the structure and mission of the sports movement As a person, you are: • Initiative-taking and development-oriented; you see opportunities and turn ideas into action • Organized and used to managing multiple tasks simultaneously • Relationship-focused and comfortable interacting with different types of people and organizations • Communicative and skilled at formulating ideas and creating engagement • Unpretentious and collaboration-oriented • Results-oriented with the ability to drive work all the way from idea to implementation You thrive in an environment where everything is not predetermined from the start.
