With over 580,000 members, we are Sweden's largest popular movement and member organization for tenants. At over 40 offices around the country, our approximately 800 committed tenant heroes work together with over 9,000 elected representatives. We are an organization in constant motion that challenges ourselves and learns from each other. With us you get the opportunity to try new, difficult and perhaps unexpected things. That's how we become stronger together. Want to get to know us even better? Follow us at https://www.linkedin.com/company/hyresgastforeningen/
Hyresgästföreningen is divided into nine regions across the country. The work and needs can look different depending on the geographic area. All regions coordinate the initiatives needed for their respective region and here all expertise is gathered in the form of lawyers, negotiators. As an organization we are passionate about everyone having the right to good housing at a reasonable cost. Region Southeast is a workplace that spans 52 municipalities and six counties. We have just over 80,000 members and approximately 100 employees. We have a number of qualified professional groups and our employees work independently with great responsibility and therefore have great development opportunities. Different professional groups often work together, as well as with elected representatives and in direct contact with members. This requires that employees feel part of the whole in the organization and understand what it means to work in a popular movement.Every day, Hyresgästföreningen, its elected representatives, employees and members contribute to improving housing for people. We have done this for many years, and we want to continue working for tenants' interests, rights and opportunities to influence their housing in the future.
