You will join the Regional Development Northern Sweden unit, part of the EU Investments and National Support department at Tillväxtverket. We are a dedicated team of project advisors and a couple of program managers driving work with the EU's regional fund programs in northern Sweden. We work data-driven, with great responsibility and in close collaboration with both local and national actors. Your placement will be in Luleå. You will work on issues primarily concerning Norrbotten, Västerbotten, Jämtland, and Västernorrland. Travel is part of the position. About the Position As a project advisor within the EU's regional fund, you participate in determining how public funds are invested – in innovation, green transition, digitalization, and stronger enterprises. You get a varied and analytical role where you follow projects from idea to results. At the same time, you build knowledge about the regions' needs and work with assessments that require a strong ability to interpret legal regulations, analyze economic documents, and contribute to smart, sustainable solutions. You participate in Tillväxtverket's efforts to strengthen regional competitiveness and sustainable development. The role includes work with information, mobilization, advice, follow-up, results dissemination and results communication, as well as processing project applications within the regional structural fund programs. Your place of work is: Luleå We are looking for you who have: A degree from a university or college in social sciences/economics/law or another field that Tillväxtverket considers relevant for the position Experience working with case management in the public sector or with the EU's structural fund programs. Alternatively, experience working with regional development. Established networks and/or good knowledge of the region's regional development organizations and growth-promoting actors Experience working with economic and legal documents Very good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish, with a focus on making complex information accessible The following are merits: Experience with Nyps2020 (case management system) Experience working with issues within the regional innovation or business promotion system Experience working with green transition (environmental and climate issues) Good knowledge of state aid rules Good knowledge of renewable energy, smart energy systems, and circular economy Longer work experience focused on the EU's structural fund programs or regional development work in one of the four northernmost counties Driver's license category B As a person, we are looking for you who is structured, results-oriented, independent, communicative, and service-minded.
