About the Role As a Road/Ground Engineer, you'll work with design across the board – from concept and feasibility studies to detailed design. You prepare procurement documents for tender, create plan and profile drawings, calculate quantities, and write technical specifications. You're involved from start to finish and work on all parts of a project alongside experienced colleagues in a broad section. Assignments range from large infrastructure projects to green industrial transformation and municipal projects. You'll start in the role as an engineer – and if you want to eventually take the step toward technical management, there are excellent opportunities to grow into that role once you're up to speed. If you prefer to continue developing as an engineer, that's equally welcome. We're Looking for Someone With Post-secondary education in ground, infrastructure, construction, or equivalent At least 3 years of experience in road, street, or ground design – from client organizations, contractors, the Swedish Transport Administration, or consulting firms Experience with AMA, CAD, and BIM Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Merits Experience working as a consultant Familiarity with Novapoint, Civil 3D, OpenRoads, or OpenRail Experience in water/wastewater or landscape design combined with ground work Driver's license category B About AFRY AFRY is a leading European engineering, design, and consulting firm with nearly 19,000 employees.
