We are seeking an engaged project coordinator for the three-year development project Creative Jämtland Härjedalen – an initiative that strengthens the region's cultural and creative industries and contributes to increased innovation, competitiveness, and cooperation. Region Jämtland Härjedalen offers a central role with opportunities to improve conditions for cultural and creative industries in Jämtland Härjedalen and strengthens the region's capacity in smart specialization. The project runs between September 2026 and August 2029 and aims to establish
· a common platform for business development actors
· a coordinated and systematic approach for business development actors and
· a structure for "one door in and the right way forward" for companies and actors within cultural and creative industries
The project aims to build a strong regional ecosystem where business development actors gain increased capacity to support cultural and creative industries within the focus area of experiences.
The position of project coordinator for the Creative Jämtland Härjedalen project is located in the Sustainable Growth Department within Regional Development at Region Jämtland Härjedalen. Region Jämtland Härjedalen is a politically governed organization with regional development responsibility. Regional Development works with development issues from social, economic, and environmental perspectives and operates within areas such as business matters, public transport, culture, folk high schools, and competence supply. We work within a large geographic area where conditions and needs vary across the region.
The position is based in the Sustainable Growth Department within Regional Development, Region Jämtland Härjedalen in Östersund, but remote work options are offered to some extent.

DUTIES
Together with a team consisting of a project manager and communicator, you contribute to cooperation between actors and achieving the project's goals. You work closely with the project manager and communicator and support the project's implementation. The duties include
· coordinating activities, meetings, workshops, and conferences
· supporting the development of cooperation structures
· maintaining contact with network actors, such as municipalities, property owners, and business organizations
· collecting and compiling materials
· providing administrative support to the project
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who has
· relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience
· experience working in a publicly governed organization
· experience with project work or coordination
Great weight is placed on personal suitability.
Meritorious are experience in building networks and cooperating between multiple actors and sectors, experience with development projects, and knowledge of or interest in cultural and creative industries.
