Kristianstad Municipality is seeking a project manager for the Water and Wastewater (VA) department where you will lead smaller projects, participate in larger projects alongside experienced colleagues, and develop yourself in an engaged and knowledgeable team. Examples of work tasks In this role, you will work on interesting and socially important projects together with experienced colleagues in the VA department. You will be part of a group of project managers with varying levels of experience where collaboration, knowledge sharing, and mutual support are a natural part of the work. You will, among other things: Lead smaller renovation and reinvestment projects within VA operations. Participate in larger investment projects as an assistant project manager alongside experienced colleagues. Work with projects including pipeline networks, pump stations, and surface, stormwater, and drinking water facilities. Collaborate with colleagues, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders. Be involved in multiple parallel projects focused on pipeline renewal and other VA infrastructure. Your work contributes directly to ensuring sustainable water and wastewater supply for the municipality's residents. Your background, experience, and expertise As an applicant, you have post-secondary technical education, preferably in water and wastewater technology, civil engineering, road and water engineering, mechanical engineering, or construction engineering. Vocational education in a relevant field is also of interest. We are looking for someone who: Has worked for a few years in a technical role, such as project manager, project engineer, contract engineer, or maintenance engineer. Has built experience in water and wastewater, process industry, mechanical installation, or other technical operations. Has knowledge of the water and wastewater field and understands issues related to VA operations. Has comprehensive understanding of AB, ABT, ABK, and AMA. Has strong knowledge of the Office suite, particularly Excel and Word. Holds a Class B driving license. Meritorious Experience with project management systems, such as Antura.
