We are now seeking experienced project managers who want to help shape the future of health data registries. About the position The Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare is responsible for several registries containing information about various aspects of health and social services. Data from these registries form an important foundation for research and monitoring of care and services, among other things. We are now seeking several experienced project managers for our unit for coordination and investigation of registries. The unit works on developing registries by leading work on new and expanded data collections. This means that we organize and lead change that affects a large number of actors in the health and medical care sector. As a project manager, you will be the link between affected stakeholders and internal working groups and other project managers. You coordinate health data experts, legal experts, communicators, and IT resources. You collaborate with other government agencies, electronic health record providers, data users, and serve as a central contact and clear entry point for the agency's work on developing data collection. An exciting assignment we are currently working on is the collection of information about waiting times in healthcare. The position is placed in the Statistics Department, at the Unit for Coordination and Investigation of Registries. The Statistics Department will undergo a reorganization, and this position may be placed in another unit as of November 1, 2026. About you To do a good job in this role, you need to be communicative in relation to colleagues and partners and have good collaboration skills. The assignment requires that you are initiative-taking, driven, collaboration-oriented, and comfortable leading through change. You enjoy working with large development projects and you are creative in your approach. You are organized and can manage complex projects. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. We are looking for someone who has a degree in epidemiology, medicine, statistics, national economics, political science, or in an area that the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare considers relevant for the position several years of experience leading and working in large complex projects, preferably as a project manager strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing, both in Swedish and English We consider it a merit if you have experience working with health data for research, statistics, or analysis experience working at a government agency or other public administration experience working in development and digitalization projects with requirements for IT development experience working with change management experience using service design or innovation methods experience with various project management methodologies Good to know The recruitment concerns several permanent positions that begin with a trial employment period of six months. You will work from the office at Västerbroplan in Stockholm, but have the opportunity to work remotely up to 2 days per week if operations allow. In spring 2027, the agency will move to new premises in Solna strand. Your job title will be Analyst and your placement will be in the Statistics Department.
