About the position Scope: Full-time Employment type: Permanent employment (probationary period may apply) Location: Västervik Start date: By agreement Application deadline: August 31, 2026 Your main responsibilities As a project manager, you are responsible for planning, leading, and implementing construction, renovation, and ROT projects within our property portfolio. You are the Housing Company's representative throughout the entire project process and are responsible for ensuring that projects are executed according to established goals regarding quality, budget, schedule, and sustainability. You work closely with colleagues in the Technology Department and other parts of the organization, and you coordinate external project managers, consultants, and contractors. In this role, you will, among other things: Lead construction, renovation, ROT, and maintenance projects from idea to completed facility. Be responsible for project budgets, schedules, and quality. Plan, coordinate, and follow up on projects together with internal and external stakeholders. Participate in procurements and monitoring of contracts. Ensure that projects are carried out in accordance with applicable legislation, regulatory requirements, and workplace safety standards. Contribute to the development of sustainable, energy-efficient, and long-term property solutions. Who are you? Your background We are looking for someone with education in construction, technology, or civil engineering at upper secondary or post-secondary level. You have several years of experience from the construction or property sector, for example as a project manager, site manager, site superintendent, project engineer, or technical consultant. We would like you to have: Good knowledge of building construction. Knowledge of building codes and contract law. Good computer skills and experience with Microsoft 365, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Class B driver's license (required). It is advantageous if you have: A degree in civil engineering or equivalent post-secondary education. Experience with Autodesk programs. Certification as a responsible controller according to PBL.
