About the Position
We are now seeking a project manager (Technical Administrator Parks and Grounds) at the Swedish National Property Board, based at Ulriksdal Palace. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, leading, and executing maintenance and development projects within parks and grounds management. You will drive projects from analysis and preparation of decision-making documents through procurement, implementation, coordination, and follow-up. The work involves responsibility for budget, scheduling, and quality assurance, as well as close collaboration with property managers, operations teams, and contractors.
You will be responsible for long-term maintenance planning of parks and ground environments to ensure the properties' financial and cultural-historical values. The assignment also includes developing care plans for parks and trees, conducting risk tree assessments, and initiating and preparing maintenance and renovation measures.
Assignment Period and Scope
The position as technical administrator/project manager is a full-time consulting assignment starting October 27, 2026, and is expected to run through October 25, 2027. There is also a possibility for extension, at most until April 25, 2028.
The position is based at Ulriksdal Palace and work is performed primarily on-site. Travel may occur.
Requirements for the Position:
• Higher education with a focus on landscape engineering, landscape architecture, or equivalent, or alternatively acquired similar knowledge through practical experience
• Category B driver's license
• At least three years of experience working with tree maintenance and management of risk trees
• At least 3 years of experience working as a project manager
• Strong knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• At least 3 years of experience in public procurement (LOU 2016:1145)
• At least 3 years of experience with laws, regulations, and other requirements related to property owner responsibilities and contract law
