About the Project Manager Position As a Project Manager at Presto, you will be part of the contracting team and will primarily work with gas leak detection systems, but the role can also expand to include other fire protection equipment. You are responsible for the entire project cycle, from initial pre-project planning and first customer contact to project completion and handover. Your responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, setting up schedules, performing gas calculations, and participating in construction meetings as needed. You are also responsible for conducting inspections that ensure the work maintains high quality and that the systems meet applicable safety requirements. You will work on multiple parallel projects at different phases of the project cycle. The role involves many contact points both internally and externally. Internally, you work closely with the sales organization, specialist engineers, and other project managers. Externally, you collaborate closely with customers, contracted subcontractors, and building owners. The position involves travel and overnight stays as needed. Your main responsibilities: - Manage multiple parallel projects within gas leak detection systems, where you ensure efficient scheduling, high quality, continuous follow-up, and correct documentation. - Work closely with both internal functions such as sales and engineers as well as external parties such as customers, building owners, and subcontractors. - Work in a traveling role with regular customer visits within your assigned region. About You We are looking for someone with a technical upper secondary education in electrical engineering, construction, or equivalent field and at least five years of work experience in contracting, preferably with 1–2 years in a leadership role. You likely have a strong interest in gas leak detection systems and fire protection, fluent Swedish and English language skills in writing and speech, and hold a category B driver's license. Previous experience with budget responsibility is considered advantageous. As a person, you are driven and enjoy working independently with freedom and responsibility, where you manage multiple parallel projects. Furthermore, you are solution-oriented and have the ability to find alternative paths forward when challenges arise. To ensure high quality and delivery, you are thorough, responsible, and have good communication skills, both towards customers, partners, and internal stakeholders. Essential for the position: - Technical upper secondary education in electrical engineering, construction, or equivalent field. - 5 years of experience in the contracting industry as an electrician or construction worker, preferably with 1–2 years as a leading installer or supervisor. - Strong interest in developing expertise in gas leak detection systems and fire protection. - Fluent language skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. - Category B driver's license. Meritorious for the position: - Previous responsibility for budget and financial follow-up. - Previous experience with construction law and/or BAS-U and BAS-P.
