Project Manager at Nordic Green Group
Would you like to combine project management with practical work in a business that creates pleasant and sustainable outdoor environments? Do you thrive in a role where you take on significant responsibility, stay close to operations, and drive projects forward? Then this could be the right opportunity for you.
The position is based at our office in Växjö and you report directly to the CEO. You will become an important part of our continued expansion in the region and will have great opportunities to influence both the role and the company's future development.
About the Position
As a project manager at Nordic Green Group, you will play a central role in driving and developing our outdoor environment, landscaping, and maintenance projects. The role is broad and varied, where you are responsible for projects from handover to final delivery, while also being a natural part of daily operations.
You combine project management and planning with active participation in operations and support practical work on site when needed. You enjoy being close to projects and see it as a natural part of the assignment to occasionally roll up your sleeves and contribute where needed.
For us, a lack of pretense is self-evident. We help each other, take responsibility together, and work towards common goals. If you appreciate a varied workday with significant responsibility, close customer contact, and the opportunity to influence both projects and operations, you have good opportunities to thrive and develop in this role.
You will work with, among other things:
Project management of landscaping and maintenance projects
Planning, coordination, and monitoring of ongoing work
Customer contact and ongoing dialogue with clients
Ordering materials and resources
Documentation, monitoring, and project administration
Financial monitoring of projects and cost estimates
Quality assurance and warranty maintenance
Practical work in operations when needed, such as planting and maintenance work
Projects vary in size from smaller assignments to larger contracts and long-term maintenance and management agreements.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone with experience from the green industry who thrives in a role where you combine structure, business acumen, and practical work. You are self-driven and take initiative, and take responsibility for your projects by driving them forward in an organized and goal-oriented manner. With a good ability to plan, prioritize, and make your own decisions, you simultaneously build strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
You are unpretentious and flexible in your work approach and thrive in an environment where the pace varies and no two days are the same. You find it easy to switch between strategic issues, customer contact, and operational work in projects. For you, it is self-evident to contribute where needed and to actively support the team in achieving common goals.
We believe that to succeed in the role, you:
Have experience with project management in gardening, parks, outdoor environments, or landscaping
Have good knowledge of plants and gardening
Have experience with customer contact and driving projects forward
Have a B-class driver's license
Master Swedish in speech and writing
Horticulture education is advantageous but not required.
