A successful project is often characterized by good management and leadership and a positive atmosphere among project team members. Therefore, the project manager is one of the most important roles for achieving success. Digitalization and a changing world are constantly creating new demands and needs for further development of our IT environment. To continue driving successful IT development, we are now seeking an additional project manager for our project management team at the Prosecutor's Office's IT department.
Your Tasks
The position involves planning, organizing, and implementing primarily IT projects, but also projects of a more business-oriented nature may occur. The work includes, among other things:
leading projects, coordinating and coordinating activities, and supervising employees within the projects you are responsible for
establishing clear objectives and timeframes if these are not predetermined
establishing and revising plans and risk assessments
monitoring and developing administrative procedures and ensuring that existing documentation is maintained
reporting and evaluating results and methods
collaborating and communicating with stakeholders, other IT professionals, units and interested parties, and where applicable external parties
responsibility for implementation and, after project completion, handover to operations.
You work independently, but have your team and project members close at hand. The department has both technical and legal expertise, and colleagues are always available to help and collaborate with.
Your Qualities and Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has
several years of experience as a project manager, with at least one year within IT
an academic degree in computer science, IT, or project management, or other education and experience that the employer deems equivalent
good knowledge of Swedish both spoken and written
good technical understanding and interest in digitalization.

About the Employment
The employment is a permanent position with a 6-month trial period.
Tests may be used in the recruitment process. The position is classified as security-sensitive, and therefore a security clearance with background check will be conducted. Swedish citizenship is a requirement for this position.
The Prosecutor's Office is a modern workplace that enables remote work to a large extent, which means that many employees in the IT department work and meet largely virtually. We meet at the office at least once a week in our nice premises centrally located at Karlaplan in Stockholm.
