Work Tasks The Infrastructure Systems Project Unit is one of six project units within the Western Maintenance District. The unit is responsible for technical systems related to roads and drives projects to maintain, manage the lifecycle, and continuously develop existing equipment. In the near future, technical systems in railway facilities will also be included, so we are now expanding our team with more staff. As a project manager, you will, for example: manage and lead service and maintenance contracts as well as reinvestment ensure that work is carried out in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and procedures be responsible for developing operational plans and forecast work be responsible for continuity and security work for current systems be responsible for preventive and proactive work regarding product vulnerabilities and risk analyses participate and support the organization in designing maintenance for received facilities (initially the central station, then all of Västlänken) As a project manager, you work on projects focused on technical control and monitoring systems for railways, though other types of technical systems may also be included in your area of responsibility. In this unit, we work closely together to maintain the availability of our facilities. This means you will lead your own projects and, when needed, provide support to your colleagues. You have financial responsibility for the projects and continuously follow up on operations, which includes managing contracted suppliers and vendors as well as planning, budgeting, and conducting procurements. In this project manager role, you will have a unique opportunity to build a maintenance operation from the ground up—perfect if you are attracted to creating something new and appreciate room for your own initiatives! To succeed in the role, you need to be good at building long-term relationships and have the ability to quickly find your way in structure and priorities, even in situations where there are no established working methods to rely on. The project manager role also involves many different contact points both internally and externally, which in turn places demands on good communication, anchoring, and a curious approach. We are looking for you who have: a university or college degree with a technical orientation of 180 credits or work experience that we consider equivalent multiple years of current and relevant work experience in project management or project control for technical systems with various types of overarching control and monitoring systems in industry, process facilities, or road/railway facilities good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing a driver's license for a passenger car It is a merit if you have: experience with procurements and contracts according to LOU and General Provisions and AB/ABT experience managing contracts according to ABFF experience working with control and monitoring systems in industry, process facilities, or road/railway facilities experience with calculations, forecasts, and cost monitoring related to contract operations Other Information The employment will be security vetted without placement in a security class. Employment requires a passed security vetting conducted in accordance with the provisions of the Security Protection Act (2018:585).
