With the mission to promote "a sustainable life – together," Nodava AB is responsible for managing and developing facilities for water supply, wastewater treatment, and waste management in Mora, Orsa, and Älvdalen municipalities. Nodava is a municipally owned specialist company focused on long-term value, societal benefit, and building capacity to meet future environmental challenges. Nodeva is seeking a project manager/project principal with Northern Dalarna as the operational area. Your primary responsibility will be to lead construction and infrastructure projects within both water/wastewater and waste operations – from feasibility studies and design through contracting, completion, and handover. The main focus of this position is implementing investment and reinvestment projects. You will work according to Nodava's project process and represent Nodava in the role of project owner, which means clear responsibility for finances, progress, and how work environment issues are managed throughout the project. The position is part of the Development and Projects department, which is tasked with providing Nodava's owner municipalities with strategic and long-term guidance in meeting development needs within waste and water/wastewater. The department currently has approximately ten employees with both individual and overlapping areas of responsibility. Your Responsibilities Manage projects within water/wastewater and waste operations, both internally and with support from external consultants Participate in or lead investigations, design work, calculations, and contracts Prepare project plans and budgets, and work with progress reporting and forecasts Prepare tender documents independently or with internal and/or consultant support Review investigations and design work Manage project finances and follow-up, as well as project documentation and filing Act as the facility owner's representative on technical and financial matters in investment and reinvestment projects Ensure that work environment activities in projects are conducted in accordance with applicable legislation. Your Profile You have higher education in roads and water, civil engineering, environment, or equivalent knowledge acquired through other means. We value strong knowledge of construction contracts and would prefer that you also have good insight into the project owner's work environment and coordination responsibilities in construction and infrastructure projects (AFS 2023:3). The position requires experience in project management, particularly in construction and infrastructure projects. Experience from a principal/client role and experience in water/wastewater and/or waste operations is also valuable. We seek someone who thrives combining independent work with collaboration with others in various contexts. The position requires a holistic view combined with a strategic approach and the ability to weigh complex information and various types of considerations. You are persistent in pursuing established goals and have a structured work approach. We aim to develop our work methods through digitalization, so you should also have an interest in digitalization's opportunities. Knowledge of AutoCAD is a merit. The position requires strong ability to communicate clearly, well-articulated, and engagingly both verbally and in writing. You ensure that messages reach their audience and that expectations are clear for all parties involved. Since the position involves travel within Mora, Orsa, and Älvdalen, a valid class B driver's license is required.
