We are now seeking a project manager and a senior project manager who want to contribute to the future energy system. With us, you will lead innovation projects in close collaboration with industry, public sector, authorities, and academia – from idea and application through implementation, utilization, and scaling. You will lead projects, develop collaborations, and contribute energy and sustainability expertise in assignments that create tangible social value. Depending on your experience, you will work at a more operational or strategic level. We are seeking both those with a few years of project management experience who want to develop further, and those with extensive experience leading complex projects who want to contribute to the continued development of the energy sector. One example of a project is Elflexibel Industri, a national initiative in advanced digitalization where we work together with industry actors to develop and demonstrate solutions for flexible energy use. Your areas of responsibility include: Lead and follow up innovation projects within flexible and robust energy systems, energy efficiency, renewable energy, and related areas Coordinate interdisciplinary project groups and collaborations with partners and funders Develop, demonstrate, and scale up new solutions together with industry, societal actors, and academia Contribute to applications, new project ideas, business development, and long-term collaboration relationships Communicate project results, progress, and value to different audiences About You We are looking for someone who is engaged in energy and sustainability issues and who is driven to get people, technology, and ideas to collaborate. You are structured, communicative, and confident in moving work forward together with others. We also believe you are curious, proactive, and generous in sharing your knowledge to create value and results. We are looking for someone who has: Academic degree in a relevant field, for example energy engineering, electrical engineering, or digitalization Competence in power and electrical systems and experience from the energy sector – energy transition, energy systems, or energy-intensive industry Experience coordinating or leading projects, preferably in collaboration between multiple actors Strong ability to build trusting relationships and drive work from idea to result Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written For the senior project manager role, we would also like you to have: Several years of experience leading complex projects, programs, or larger collaborative initiatives Experience initiating projects, developing applications, conducting customer dialogues, and contributing to business development Ability to identify new opportunities, build long-term collaborations, and contribute to the strategic development of the energy sector Why You Should Choose Chalmers Industriteknik At Chalmers Industriteknik, you will work in a development-oriented organization where research, technology, and social value meet.
