JOB RESPONSIBILITIES How do we create a city where children and young people receive the right support at the right time? That is the question that Mölndal Municipality and the Tim Bergling Foundation want to explore together through a unique initiative for children and young people's mental health. By developing new creative working methods together with the city's administrations and young people in the city, strengthening collaboration, and creating better conditions to early meet the needs of children and young people. The role involves leading and driving a joint initiative between Mölndal Municipality and the Tim Bergling Foundation with the aim of promoting children and young people's mental health and early prevention of mental illness. The initiative includes the School Administration, the Education Administration, the Social Services and Employment Administration, the Healthcare and Care Administration, and the Culture and Recreation Administration. As project manager, you are responsible for creating structure, coordinating efforts, and driving the work forward in close collaboration with the affected operations. The assignment includes: • Lead and coordinate work between the participating administrations. • Plan and develop meeting structures, collaboration forums, and common working methods. • Support the management group in formulating goals, priorities, and expected effects. • Drive the work of integrating the initiative into ordinary operations and create long-term sustainability. • Organize training, competence-building initiatives, and dissemination of knowledge and methods. • Ensure that children and young people are given the opportunity to participate and have influence in the development work. • Coordinate a network of ambassadors from participating operations. • Follow up, document, and communicate the project's development and results. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • Relevant university education in pedagogy, behavioral science, public health, social work, or another area that the employer deems equivalent. • Experience leading projects, development work, or change initiatives. • Experience collaborating between different operations and professions. • Very strong ability to create engagement, build relationships, and drive work forward. • Good ability to express yourself in speech and writing. Meritorious: • Experience from the school system. • Experience working with children and young people. • Experience of cross-sectoral collaboration in public operations. • Experience working with mental health or preventive initiatives. • Experience working in a politically governed organization. Employment form: Permanent employment. Organizational Placement The position is organizationally placed within the School Administration of Mölndal Municipality. The assignment is carried out in close collaboration with several administrations and external actors, which means you will work cross-sectorally and have many contact points both within and outside the organization. The assignment is linked to the joint initiative between Mölndal Municipality and the Tim Bergling Foundation running for approximately 2.5 years, provided that the position is filled. The goal is to create sustainable structures and working methods that long-term strengthen work with children and young people's mental health and help children and young people more easily receive the right support at the right time. The project also includes a project group with representatives and ambassadors from the different operations. Depending on the project's different phases, collaboration will take place with, for example, student health services, cultural educators, public health coordinators, leisure leaders, social workers, and other key functions.
