With us, you work close to operations on assignments that strengthen the region's structure, working methods and collective capability. Our Operations The Data Management Unit is part of the Communications and Information Department at Region Uppsala's Management Office. The unit consists of nine people and is tasked with coordinating and strengthening the region's work with information and data management. As part of the Management Office, we contribute to common conditions for governance, development and implementation in the region's operations. We develop structure, working methods and support that help operations to handle information clearly, sustainably and usably. The work takes place close to different parts of the organization and in cooperation with several professions. Your Assignment As an information and data management strategist with a focus on project management, you work strategically and practically on assignments that develop the region's working methods, structure and capability. You have a coordinating and driving role and report to the unit manager. The role is close to operations and covers information and data management in a broad sense. The emphasis is on operations development rather than technology, but you need to understand how information, working methods, governance and digital tools are connected. You contribute to bringing together perspectives, creating consensus and moving assignments from analysis to implementation. Your tasks: • Drive and coordinate assignments within information and data management from planning through implementation, follow-up and closure. • Gather, investigate and analyze needs in different operations, for example through dialogues, workshops and interviews. • Prepare decision-making materials by clarifying needs, proposing implementation and impact goals. • Coordinate work between different functions and contribute to solving obstacles, creating consensus and anchoring. Your Qualifications We place great emphasis on your personal competencies, your attitude and your commitment. We are looking for someone who is analytical, curious and structured, with the ability to create order in complex issues and drive work forward together with others. You collaborate well and build trust through clarity and attentiveness. You can make trade-offs, manage priorities and maintain direction when many perspectives need to be weighed together. You are pragmatic, flexible and can adapt when circumstances change. You have relevant university education, for example in informatics, information science, systems science or other equivalent education, and several years of experience in project management, investigation or operations development in a complex organization. You also have experience in needs assessment, analysis, preparing materials and implementation together with others. You need to have a good understanding of how governance, responsibility and working methods are connected in a larger organization and be able to translate that into practical development work. Experience in leading change, creating anchoring and supporting the implementation of new working methods is therefore important. It is a merit if you have experience from the public sector or other politically controlled organization, as well as information management, governing structures or development of common working methods. You express yourself very well in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing, and can adapt your communication to different target groups. You don't need to know everything from the start, but you need to have a solid foundation and a willingness to develop further in the role. We Offer With us you get an important role in Region Uppsala's work with information and data management. You work on issues that affect the entire organization and contribute to better structure, quality and usability in the region's information.
