At the same time, we are expanding infrastructure for public transportation with new service depots for buses and trains.
Operational Area (VO) Base Projects is responsible for Region Skåne's renovations and expansions, and manages approximately 600 projects annually with project budgets ranging from approximately one million to one billion kronor throughout Skåne. VO Base Projects is now seeking driven, structured, and competent project managers for installation work with a focus on HVAC to strengthen our Project Management Units in Lund and Malmö.

JOB DUTIES
In your role as project manager, you act as the client for the installation project. As a project manager, you have overall responsibility for the project regarding time, quality, and economy. You initiate, drive, and structure your own work tasks. Region Skåne's properties are technology-intensive, so it is essential that you have a good understanding of technically complex buildings.
You conduct cost estimates, preliminary studies, and investigations, and you procure consultants and lead their work in developing tender documentation. Furthermore, you procure the contract and are responsible for monitoring the contract until approved final inspection and are responsible for handover to Region Skåne's operations organization.
In your role, you are responsible for and take ownership of the installation project's entire progress, ensure resources and the project's scope so that the correct time, quality, and economy are maintained. You are responsible for ensuring that all laws, regulations, and governing guidelines are followed in the construction project in accordance with Region Skåne's Building Process, and that Region Skåne's procurement rules according to the Public Procurement Act (LOU) are followed.
As a project manager, you are a key person in contact with the healthcare operations conducted in the spaces where the renovation will take place. Since healthcare operations typically occur for large parts of and/or around the clock, it is important that you closely collaborate with the operations to plan how the renovation can be best executed.
Travel within parts of Skåne may occur during work.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with an engineering degree in HVAC or other education that the employer considers equivalent, or that you have equivalent competence acquired through several years of professional experience. You have good knowledge and experience with technical installations within the HVAC field, as well as a good understanding of the building's entire technical systems and installations. We see that you have good knowledge and experience in leading complex renovation or new construction projects. Good computer skills are essential in this role, and you must have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing. We would like to see that you have good knowledge of AB, ABT, ABK, work on administrative regulations, and procurement of consultants and contractors. A B-category driver's license is required as travel within Skåne will occur.
If you also have experience with procurement according to LOU, that is a merit. Similarly, if you have experience with project management and production management.
As a person, you are confident, stable, and have good self-awareness. In your work, you are self-driven and structured, which means you plan work in advance, organize and prioritize activities efficiently, and set up and maintain schedules. Other important qualities are that you are flexible, bring ideas to the table, and are interested in developing our working methods. To succeed in this role, we see that you are communicative and relationship-building both within and outside the organization. We place great importance on personal suitability.
