Project Manager – Industrial / Water/Wastewater – Gothenburg Sibe Construction is now recruiting a Project Manager on behalf of our client with placement in Gothenburg. On behalf of our client, we are now seeking a business-minded and driven Project Manager who wants to lead projects in industrial and water/wastewater sectors! Placement is in Gothenburg and projects are conducted primarily in the Gothenburg region and surrounding areas. About the Role As Project Manager, you have overall responsibility for planning, leading, and executing construction projects from start to completion. You work closely with clients, site management, and the production organization and play a central role in ensuring that projects are delivered profitably, with high quality, and satisfied customers. The role involves significant personal responsibility and suits you if you thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where you can combine technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership. We are looking for someone with a strong business sense and good understanding of economics and budgeting. You see the connection between production, planning, and profitability and have the ability to make business decisions throughout the project lifecycle. Example Responsibilities Lead and drive construction projects from planning to completion. Manage finances, follow-up, and project profitability. Work with budgets, forecasts, and financial management. Build and develop long-term customer relationships. Coordinate internal and external resources on projects. Ensure structure, planning, and progress. Work closely with both public and private clients. Contribute to the development of work methods and project management. We are looking for someone who Has experience managing construction projects and feels comfortable in a role where both business and production are in focus. You have likely worked as: Project Manager in water/wastewater and infrastructure projects Site Manager in earthworks and construction Construction Engineer with significant personal responsibility We would like to see that you have experience from infrastructure, earthworks, industrial, or water/wastewater projects, but what is most important is that you have good production knowledge, strong self-motivation, and a desire to create successful projects together with customers and colleagues. We are particularly interested in someone who: has solid practical experience in piping, mechanics, or industrial work, has progressed into project management, has experience with construction projects in process industry, is business-oriented and has worked with budgets and customer relations, has strong technical knowledge and the ability to build trust with both customers and installers. You do not need to be a university engineer to succeed in this role. We place much greater emphasis on your production experience, your business acumen, your drive, and your ability to deliver results than on your educational background. However, you need to have good administrative skills.
