ABOUT THE POSITION: As a Project Manager, you will have a central role in projects related to maintenance and technical modifications of marine vessels. You are responsible for planning, structuring, executing, and following up on your projects with a focus on quality, time, and budget. The work involves a combination of project management and proximity to technical operations. You will collaborate with technical specialists, production, procurement, and operational staff to ensure work proceeds as planned. Projects can involve both preventive and corrective maintenance as well as technical modifications and improvements onboard. You will be able to drive smaller projects independently and collaborate with other project managers and colleagues on larger assignments. The role also involves contact with both internal and external customers, making it a good fit for someone who values building relationships while driving work forward. RESPONSIBILITIES: Plan, lead, and follow up on projects within technical maintenance and modifications Lead and coordinate project meetings and ensure clear communication regarding activities, priorities, and resources Develop and maintain activity and timeline schedules Prepare and compile production budgets Monitor projects regarding cost, quality, procurement, and timeline Coordinate work between technical specialists, production, and other internal functions Drive smaller projects independently and contribute to larger projects alongside colleagues Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO: Have relevant university or college education or equivalent work experience Have experience in project management, project coordination, or similar work in a technical operation Have an interest in technology and are comfortable working close to operational activities Are able to independently structure, plan, and follow up on your work Speak and write fluently in Swedish and English as both languages are used in the work Hold a valid driver's license It is a merit if you have: Experience in technical maintenance, production, or mechanical systems Experience or knowledge of marine vessels Experience from the Swedish Armed Forces or the Swedish Defence Materiel Administration (FMV) Education in project management, economics, administration, or commercial matters IPMA certification or equivalent Experience in budgeting and financial project follow-up To thrive in the role, we believe you are responsible, structured, and solution-oriented. In the current business area, they work closely with marine vessels with a focus on ensuring their function and availability over time. Here you will work close to both technology and operations alongside colleagues from various areas of expertise. You will be offered a varied project manager role where you get to follow work from planning and coordination through execution and delivery. ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT: This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday and work as a consultant at our client.
