About the Position
As a project manager, you will be responsible for investment projects for high-voltage transmission lines. You represent Svenska kraftnät as the client and are responsible for the project's schedule, cost, and results. The role can encompass both the planning/design phase and the construction phase.
This recruitment is shared across multiple project manager units. We are seeking project managers whether you prefer to work in the early or late phases of infrastructure projects.
As a project manager, you are responsible for procuring and leading the project team and the project's suppliers through the various project phases. You are expected to make decisions and drive the work forward together with other project members and consultants. You also have responsibility for work environment and electrical safety.
During the planning and design phases, significant emphasis is placed on permit matters and communication with the project's various stakeholders. As a project manager in both the early and late phases of the project, you are responsible for directing and leading a project team consisting of sub-project managers in areas such as permits and land access, as well as support and expert functions. The work often involves weighing different parameters against each other and making prioritizations in a changing world and organization.

You will be part of the Grid Development Projects department, which is represented at Svenska kraftnät's head office in Sundbyberg and the various local offices in Gothenburg, Sundsvall, Sollefteå, Luleå, and Västerås.

Education:
You have a university degree in an area relevant to the position or equivalent experience acquired in another way that Svenska kraftnät considers equivalent. For example, studies in civil engineering, infrastructure, or electrical power.
You also have:
At least three years of experience managing large complex infrastructure or construction projects
Knowledge of construction law (for example ABK09, ABT, AB)
Knowledge of AMA and similar industry standards
Very strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English
Class B driver's license
Meritorious:
Experience from electrical power projects
Project management training such as PMI/IPMA
Experience of having worked within or for the public sector
Experience in a client function role
Good to Know:
The position is located in Sundbyberg and Västerås
Opportunity for remote work up to 50%, if work permits. #LI-hybrid.
