Project Manager for Real Estate and Operations at Stockholm County Healthcare Region

We are now seeking a project manager who wants to be involved in planning and leading new construction and renovation projects within SLSO's operations. About Us Stockholm County Healthcare Region (SLSO) is responsible for a large portion of specialized outpatient care, primary care, and psychiatry within Region Stockholm. Our operations are spread across the entire county, and our facilities are a crucial prerequisite for being able to offer safe, modern, and patient-secure care. Within our real estate-related operations, we work to develop, adapt, and future-proof facilities for both outpatient and inpatient care. As a project manager, you will become an important part in creating functional and sustainable healthcare environments. About the Position As a project manager with us, you are responsible for driving both large and small real estate and operations projects. You collaborate closely with SLSO's operations and central support functions, such as chief physicians, procurement/purchasing, infection control, as well as Locum staff and their subcontractors. You serve as a link between different internal and external stakeholders and ensure that the facilities support healthcare needs in a functional, attractive, and sustainable manner. Examples of Work Tasks Plan, lead, and follow up construction and renovation projects from needs analysis to commissioning Coordinate requirements for clinical functionality in both outpatient and inpatient care Support healthcare operations throughout the project, including move-in and startup Lead working groups and maintain timelines, budgets, and quality Ensure good communication between operations, support functions, and external parties Work according to Region Stockholm's investment process and internal guidelines Personal Qualities We are looking for someone who is self-driven and takes responsibility for moving your projects forward, with the ability to prioritize and work independently. You are flexible and thrive in a changing organization where conditions can shift quickly, and you can switch between strategic and practical matters. Your collaboration skills are strong; you find it easy to build relationships and work with different professions and functions, and you serve as a bridge between operations, support functions, and external parties. You have clear and inclusive leadership where you foster participation, communicate clearly, and lead working groups toward common goals. At the same time, you are structured, plan and organize your work in a systematic manner, keep track of timelines, budgets, and follow-ups, and ensure that decisions are implemented. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: Relevant experience coordinating and setting requirements for clinical functionality for healthcare operations, both outpatient and inpatient care Project management and/or leadership training Academic degree in a relevant field Work experience in project management Good general IT skills Very good skills in Excel and other Office applications Very good skills in Swedish, both spoken and written Meritorious Experience managing facility and construction projects within healthcare operations Experience working according to Region Stockholm's investment process Experience with Projektil Does this sound like you?
