Stockholm Exergi is the energy company of Stockholmers, and we have approximately 850 employees working every day to reduce the climate impact of Stockholm residents. We heat over 800,000 Stockholmers, and our 300-mile-long district heating network is the hub of the public benefits we create. We have now begun construction of a carbon capture facility at our biomass combined heat and power plant in Värtan, with the potential to capture 800,000 tons of carbon dioxide per year, which is more than what Stockholm's road traffic emits during the same period. We need more skilled employees and hope you want to join us on our Exergi journey. What can we offer you? As an experienced project manager at Stockholm Exergi's project management office, you will play a central role in driving complex investment projects through their entire project lifecycle. You will lead work from early feasibility studies and pre-project phases, through procurement and implementation, to completion, in close collaboration with project teams and internal stakeholders. Your responsibility is to ensure delivery according to agreed objectives for time, scope, quality, and budget, while also contributing to developing our collective project management capabilities. Our projects are an important part of Stockholm Exergi's energy business and include investments in energy-producing facilities, major distribution projects, and business development initiatives that shape future energy solutions. We are now strengthening the project management office with an additional project manager with a focus on electrical power projects, where your expertise will be critical in translating decided plans into executed projects. You will become part of a project office with broad expertise, where you can learn from other project managers and benefit from their experience to develop both as a project manager and contribute to a more efficient project process. For our electrical power projects, we see that you have a technical background in electrical power and experience in requirements specification as well as developing functional descriptions and technical documentation for suppliers. You have good knowledge of applicable electrical safety requirements and are accustomed to working in environments where safety and quality are paramount. At the same time, we know that no one knows everything from the start – if you have a solid technical foundation and a willingness to develop further, we encourage you to apply. We believe that you take responsibility for the whole, are open to new perspectives, and have a genuine interest in sustainable energy production. You are a confident leader who combines structure with attentiveness and creates results together with others through dialogue, risk awareness, and focus on improvement. This is a permanent position. Working hours: Daytime. Location: Includes work at the company's facilities based at Campus, which is our head office in Hjorthagen. Why work with me? I have approximately 15 years of experience in project work, both as a project manager and manager. Seeing ideas grow into reality has always fascinated me, especially when it happens together with others and contributes to people's development. I am an engaged, attentive, and structured leader who values relationships and a secure work environment where employees thrive, feel trust, and take responsibility. Supporting development in both competence and responsibility motivates me, and I strongly believe in balance between work and leisure as the foundation for long-term success.
