Business Area (VO) Base Projects is responsible for Region Skåne's renovation and expansion projects and manages approximately 600 projects annually with project budgets ranging from approximately one million to one billion kronor throughout Skåne. VO Base Projects is now seeking two driven, structured, and competent project managers with an electrical focus to strengthen our project management units in Malmö and Lund. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are looking for two engaged and structured project managers who want to drive exciting projects together with our team. With us, you will have the opportunity to develop in a varied role where you work closely with experienced project managers and contribute to projects being completed efficiently and with high quality. In your role as project manager, you act as the client for electrical installation projects. As a project manager, you have overall responsibility for the project regarding time, quality, and budget. You initiate, drive, and structure your own work tasks. Region Skåne's properties are technology-intensive, so you need to have an understanding of technically complex buildings. You conduct cost estimates, feasibility studies, and investigations, and procure consultants and manage their work to develop tender documentation. Furthermore, you procure the contract and are responsible for monitoring the contract until approved final inspection and are responsible for handover to Region Skåne's operations organization. In your role, you are responsible for and take ownership of the entire progress of the installation project, ensure resources and the project scope so that the correct time, quality, and budget are maintained. You are responsible for ensuring that all laws, regulations, and governing guidelines are followed in the construction project in accordance with Region Skåne's Building Process, and that Region Skåne's procurement rules according to the Public Procurement Act (LOU) are followed. You are a key contact with the healthcare operations being conducted in the affected and surrounding spaces where the renovation will take place. Since healthcare activities often take place large parts of and/or around the clock, it is important that you work closely with the operations to plan how the renovation can best be carried out. Travel within parts of Skåne is required for the position. We are seeking two project managers for our units in Malmö and Lund. You will be based either in Malmö or in Lund. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with an engineering degree in electrical engineering or other education that the employer considers equivalent, or who has equivalent competence acquired through work experience. You have knowledge/experience of technical installations within the electrical field, as well as an understanding of the building's entire technical systems and installations. Good computer skills are a necessity in the role, and you must have a good ability to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing. We would like to see that you are familiar with AB, ABT, ABK, as work with developing administrative specifications and procurement of consultants and contractors is part of the position. A Class B driver's license is a requirement as travel within Skåne is part of the role. If you additionally have experience working with public procurement according to LOU, that is a merit. As a person, you are secure, stable, and have good self-awareness. In your work, you are self-driven and structured, which means you plan your work in advance, organize and prioritize activities in an efficient manner, and set up and maintain schedules. Other important qualities are that you are flexible, bring ideas, and are interested in developing our working methods.
