Energicentrum Gotland has the mission to drive Gotland toward a 100% renewable energy system within 15 years. Energicentrum acts as a catalyst in Gotland's energy transition, spreading knowledge, communicating, creating conditions for renewable development, and serving as the natural contact point in Gotland's energy transformation. In connection with this, we continuously lead a number of development projects across various areas of the transition.
As an employee at Energicentrum, you'll have contacts ranging from local Gotland farms to the EU, sometimes through national authorities and international partners. We're looking for someone motivated by this vision who wants to be part of this work. This is a project-based position (up to four years).
Energicentrum Gotland is a unit within the Regional Development department of Region Gotland. Your colleagues are energy and climate advisors, communicators, project managers, and specialists. The reference group for Energicentrum has broad support from residents, business, public sector, and academia. Energicentrum is also part of the association Energikontoren Sverige, which brings together 14 energy offices throughout Sweden and represents a clear national voice in regional energy transition.

Your responsibilities
We expect you to enjoy development and change. As a project manager at Energicentrum, you independently lead projects with clear objectives, while continuously evaluating the path forward for the best results. You need an understanding of finances, but that's not the primary focus of the job. Most importantly is understanding context, creating good collaborations, and stimulating forward momentum. And of course, keeping to the schedule.
You don't need to be a specialist in energy, but you should find it an exciting area.
Who are you?
We're looking for someone with a university degree or at least four years of relevant professional experience. The role involves international contacts, which requires good English communication skills. Experience with change management is considered a merit.
We see that you have held positions that provide understanding of financial management, project schedules, and coordinating with partners and/or parallel processes.
To succeed in this role, you are self-driven, organized, and have good personal maturity. You are development-oriented, see opportunities for improvement, and have the ability to turn ideas into practice. You also have good collaboration skills, a flexible approach, and a holistic perspective that helps you prioritize and make well-founded decisions.
