Your Assignment As a project manager in physical security, you will be part of a unit within the Operations Support department that is responsible for ensuring that core operations have the best conditions to conduct their activities. For you, this means handling the Security Office's responsibilities related to physical security at the agency under your unit manager. In your role as a physical security project manager, you will have a key role in developing and strengthening the agency's physical security. You drive projects that make a real difference – from initial needs analyses and requirements specification to completed security solutions that protect operations, information, and people. The role combines project management, technology, and economics and gives you the opportunity to influence both strategic decisions and operational implementation. Together with suppliers, contractors, and operations, you translate needs into sustainable and effective security solutions. You are responsible for creating structure, ensuring progress, and leading projects toward set goals with a focus on quality, security, and long-term value creation. Your main responsibilities include: • Drive projects through the entire project lifecycle – from needs analysis to completed solution • Develop and specify requirements for procurement and call-offs • Lead, coordinate, and follow up contractors, suppliers, and other external parties • Ensure that projects are executed according to agreements, budgets, timelines, and set requirements • Responsibility for financial follow-up, forecasts, and supplier management • Develop procedures, standards, and methods within physical security • Provide support, advice, and guidance to managers and employees on security-related matters • Drive improvement and development initiatives that strengthen security at the agency In addition to this, you have many contact points, both internally and externally, where you build strong collaborations and create trust between operations, suppliers, contractors, and other agencies. You receive significant individual responsibility and are expected to independently drive matters forward, make well-founded decisions, and ensure that projects deliver the desired effect. Travel within Sweden occurs regularly and international travel may also be relevant. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: • At least five years of experience working within physical security regarding security technology – e.g., with alarm systems, access control systems, CCTV • Experience in specifying requirements for installations related to physical security • Experience in leading security installations, both new construction and renovation projects • Experience in project management • Experience in budgeting and financial follow-up • Experience with regulations and contract administration • Experience reviewing drawings and documentation • Experience working with physical security standards • Class B driver's license • Good ability to communicate in Swedish and English, both spoken and written We consider the following meriting: • Education in one or more of the following areas: project management, economics, construction, contractor law, ABT06/AB04, security protection, fire safety, risk and vulnerability analysis, RÖS/TEMPEST • Certifications or qualified education in physical security, e.g., authorized intrusion alarm and CCTV engineer • Experience with similar assignments at, for example, the Swedish Armed Forces, the Police Authority, or equivalent agency • Experience in commissioning security systems. Previous professional experience in installation, service, or design of security systems is desirable • Experience with responsibility for larger projects in technical surveillance • Experience working in a complex security environment • Experience in developing documentation such as instructions, procedures, guidelines, and drawings/documentation • Knowledge of IoT • Knowledge of locks and doors • Skills in CAD programs You Are We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities and are looking for someone who takes responsibility for your task by structuring your approach and driving your processes. More Information The workplace is located near Drottningholm, approximately 10 minutes from Brommaplan. Swedish citizenship is a requirement as employment at FRA entails placement in a security clearance category.
