The Department of Community Development is responsible for physical urban planning, technical management of properties and streets, facilities management and meal services, as well as handling of matters within the planning and building area. The Department of Community Development consists of five units: planning, construction and MEX, facilities management, two meal service units and the technical unit which includes streets/parks and property.

Job Description
As a project manager you drive projects from start to finish in collaboration with colleagues at the Department of Community Development and together with our contracted contractors. You will work in a politically controlled organization where cooperation with internal and external contacts is a natural part of everyday life. You present projects in the Community Development Board, are responsible for building permit processes and authority contacts, and coordinate and lead consultants, contractors and internal project groups.
The position offers a wide variety of tasks and a high degree of independent work. In the role of construction project manager you are responsible for designing and managing construction projects from pre-study to completion, including establishing budgets, budgets and financial forecasts. You identify operational needs and convert them into feasible projects. You are also responsible for conducting status assessments and inventorying the technical condition of properties as well as developing long-term maintenance plans and investment documentation. You will also prepare request documentation and construction documents, and participate in procurement and contracting matters. You ensure that projects are carried out in accordance with laws, regulations, schedules and budgets, and are responsible for final inspections, handovers and follow-up.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
have relevant university education in construction, property, community development or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
have at least 5 years of experience in project management in the construction or real estate industry.
have good knowledge of AMA, AB04, ABT06, and ABK09.
have a B driving license.
work with digital solutions to streamline the department's work.
It is meritorious if you also:
have experience working in a politically controlled organization.
have experience with public projects such as school and healthcare buildings.
have had budget responsibility for your projects.
have certification in project management (IPMA, PMI, PRINCE2, SBR or equivalent).
have education in BAS-P and BAS-U.
are certified Supervisory Responsible (KA) with authority K.
have experience as a Supervisory Responsible in construction projects according to the Planning and Building Act (PBL).
have experience with Procurement (LOU).
