The Project Department is organized in two units: the construction unit and the infrastructure unit, each led by a unit manager. The team consists of project managers in construction, infrastructure, and land/environment. The operation is characterized by close and broad collaboration, both internally within the municipality and with external partners, with the aim of creating maximum value for the municipality and its residents. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES As a land and infrastructure project manager, you will work on implementing approved new construction and renovations on municipal land as well as investigations and budgeting in the early stages of the detailed planning and development process. It is an exciting assignment that involves influencing how roads, facilities, and public spaces will be designed. The assignment is carried out with the aim of creating as much value as possible for citizens. As a project manager, you lead and participate in projects with clear objectives, with strong financial awareness and knowledge of what works in practice, as well as with a great interest in design issues. All procurement is carried out in accordance with the Public Procurement Act, LOU. You have significant personal responsibility for projects and investigations while within the group we utilize each other's strengths and knowledge and develop our operations and working methods together. QUALIFICATIONS You are a polytechnic engineer, civil engineer, or have other education and experience suitable for the assignment and which the employer considers relevant and sufficient for the role. As a project manager, you are a leader in distinctive teamwork, and to succeed you should have strong customer service skills and a knack for collaboration, both with consultants and contractors as well as with colleagues. You should have good experience in project management and/or project engineering within the infrastructure field. A Class B driver's license is required for this position. Work as a project manager requires that you have a strong service mentality and that you are responsive. You thrive in the role as the "hub" and have a knack for planning, driving, and following up on processes. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. Employment form: Permanent employment.
